WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Maria Estrada (Guatemala City, Guatemala) earned two second-place finishes and Sophie Olander (Amston, Conn.) crossed the finish line once to finish second as the Albertus Magnus College women's swimming team fell 154-55 against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) and 106-42 versus Saint Joseph's College (Me.) on Saturday.
Estrada clocked in at 3:01.79 in the 200 yard breaststroke and at 2:32.89 in the 200 yard IM for the second spot. Olander finished with a time of 13:24.02 in the 1000 yard freestyle for a second-place finish. Emily Morales (Southington, Conn.) swam a personal best in the 100 yard freestyle to finish fifth.
Albertus travels for a tri-meet against Gordon and Plymouth State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
