WENHAM, Mass. — Emily Morales (Southington, Conn.) and Nicole Irizarry (New Haven, Conn.) swam personal bests in the Albertus Magnus College women's swimming & diving losses in a dual meet against Gordon College (196-45) and Plymouth State (146-75) on Saturday at Bennett Center.
Morales secured a personal record in the 100 yard backstroke for the fifth spot after finishing with a time of 1:24.04 and in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:36.12 for fifth place, while Irizarry finished clocked in at a career-best time of 1:09.88 in the 100 yard freestyle to earn fifth.
For season bests, Sophie Olander (Amston, Conn.) clocked in at second in the 1000 yard freestyle (13:17.18), Chloe Oliver (Milford, Conn.) earned fourth in the 100 yard backstroke (1:19.40) and Lourdes Rodriguez (East Hartford, Conn.) secured sixth in the 100 yard butterfly (1:31.92).
Maria Estrada (Guatemala City, Guatemala) placed second in the 200 yard breastroke with a time of 3:03.96 and garnered third in the 200 yard IM for a time of 2:41.58.
The Falcons host its first home meet against Great Northeast Athletic Conference opponent Elms College in The Nest on November 23 at 1 p.m.
