NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's swimming team was picked to finish tied for sixth at the upcoming Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Swimming and Diving Championships which will take place at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) from February 7-9.
The Falcons received 11 voting points, tying them with Elms College.
Two-time defending champion Norwich University was picked to win the title once again, receiving 48 voting points, including six first-place votes. Simmons was picked second, receiving 42 voting points and the remaining first-place votes.
Regis was picked third with 29 voting points, followed by Saint Joseph's College (Maine) and the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), who were tied for fourth with 27 voting points. Albertus and Elms rounded out the voting.
