A NEW WEEK
The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team returns to action this week with two non-conference tilts against Division II opponent New Haven and Sarah Lawrence.

WEEK ONE HIGHLIGHTS

• This was the Falcons' first win over Lehman.
• The duo of Jessica Coughlin (Durhamn, Conn.) and Izzy Sabino (Cheshire, Conn.) started things off for the Falcons with a 8-0 shutout in No. 2 doubles.
• The combination of Nallely Magana (East Haven, Conn.) and Paige Williams (Orange County, Va.) took the doubles win in the No. 3 slot by a score of 8-3.

COUGHLIN TABBED GNAC CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Freshman Jessica Coughlin (Durham, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team has been tabbed as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Rookie of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, as announced by the league office.

Coughlin won both her singles and doubles matches in her collegiate debut against Lehman College. The duo of Coughlin and Izzy Sabino(Cheshire, Conn.) started things off for the Falcons on Saturday with an 8-0 shutout in No. 2 doubles. Coughlin also put up a strong effort in No. 2 singles, defeating her opponent 6-4 and 7-5.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Sarah Lawrence leads the all-time series over Albertus Magnus, 1-0.
