NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team opened their 2021 season with an 8-1 loss to Simmons University in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) showdown on Saturday afternoon at the Celentano Tennis Courts.
In her collegiate debut, freshman JuJu Oliver (New Britain, Conn.) earned the Falcons' lone win of the afternoon following a thrilling 6-4, 7-5 win over Olga Zhizhin at No. 1 singles.
