Women's Tennis Tops Lesley for First Win of 2021

ARLINGTON, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team captured its first "W" of the 2021 fall campaign as the Falcons defeated the Lynx of Lesley University by a score of 5-4 on the road in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

The match was all tied up at 4-4 following a 1-6, 6-1, 6-2 win by Lesley's Jordan Blair at No. 5 singles. The winning match came from Albertus' Sabrinna Accioly (West Haven, Conn.) as she defeated Brenna Peterson at No. 6 singles by the score of 6-2, 6-4.
