Women’s Tennis Places Four on Academic All-District® Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College women's tennis placed four student-athletes on the 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA. Honored for their combined academic and athletic achievements were Giana Cagna (Meriden, Conn.), Nayelli Garcia (East Haven, Conn.), Mariah Mandulak (Shelton, Conn.) and JuJu Oliver (New Britain, Conn.).

The 2023 Academic All-District® teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender. Selection to the team was contingent on student-athletes appearing in 50% of their teams' games and hosting a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50-or-higher.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
