New Haven, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Volleyball team dropped a hard fought match to visiting Mitchell College in five games.  The Lady Falcons won the first match 25-22.  Mitchell College returned the favor taking  the second game of the match 25-22.  Albertus responded by taking game three 25-18.  Mitchell won a spectactular fourth game 26-24.  The fifth and decided game saw Mitchell college take a 6-0 lead.  Albertus battled back but ultimately was defeated 15-13 in heartbreaking fashion.  Junior outside hitter Tiffany Ortiz (New Haven, CT) paced the Lady Falcons with nine kills and 18 digs while junior outside hitter Elizabeth Williams (West Haven, CT) had 15 kills and 18 digs on the night.  Albertus drops to 0-3, 0-0 GNAC while Mitchell improves to 1-0, 0-0 NECC.  The Lady Falcons look to rebound as they host Elms College on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
