Tiffany Ortiz (New Haven, Conn.) recorded seven kills and two service aces to lead the Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-20) win over Sarah Lawrence on Sunday afternoon.

After defeating Sarah Lawrence 3-0 in the first match of the day, the Falcons (4-20) came out with a ton of momentum, dominating in the first two sets, winning 25-17 and 25-15. The Falcons combined for 18 kills in the first two sets and held Sarah Lawrence to just 11, including four in the first.

Ortiz led both teams with seven kills, while Leanna Velez (Waterbury, Conn.) recorded 17 assists and eight digs. Nicole Acerra (East Haven, Conn.) added four kills, two service aces and nine digs.

Krista LaBissioniere (Meriden, Conn.) led both teams with a 12-dig effort, while adding three kills and five service aces. The sophomore improved her dig tally on the year to 307, which leads the Falcons.

Elizabeth Williams (West Haven, Conn.) chipped in with six kills and three digs.

The Falcons held Sarah Lawrence to 14 kills in three matches as the Gryphons recorded a negative hitting percentage throughout the entire match.
