Former Albertus Magnus women's volleyball player Tiffany Ortiz was featured in an article about her following in the footsteps as her father in the New Haven Police Department.
As a Falcon, Ortiz played two seasons before graduating in 2012 from the college. As a senior, during the 2011 season, she played in 24 matches and recorded 106 kills. She averaged 1.28 kills per set in 83 sets played and tallied 23 service aces and 127 digs on the year. Ortiz also registered 17 blocks on the season, including 11 solo blocks.
Ortiz most recently finished her field training and is now a member of the New Haven Police Department.
