Women's Volleyball Defeats Anna Maria, Splits Home Tri-Match

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team topped Anna Maria College in straight sets to earn a split at its home Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match on Saturday. In the nightcap, the Falcons dropped a 3-0 decision to Colby-Sawyer College.

• Albertus logged a .172 hitting percentage in the opener, compared to .015 for Anna Maria.

Diana Kalman (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Maria Vazquez (Hamden, Conn.) finished tied for the team lead with eight kills each against the AMCATS.
Jaiden Williams (Orange, Conn.) was also integral to the offense with 23 assists on the team's 26 kills.
• Williams also tallied a season-best six service aces.
Jesselle Guzman (El Paso, Texas) helmed the Albertus defense with 10 digs.
