NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team dropped a four-set thriller to the visiting Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Tuesday night at "The Nest" inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

• The Blue Jays held hitting percentage advantages in the first and second sets, hitting .158 and .241 to earn a 25-21 victory and a 25-19 win.
• The Falcons hit at a blistering .448 clip in the third set, on their way to picking up a 25-16 victory to cut their deficit to 2-1.
• Unfortunately for Albertus, the rally ended in the fourth set, as USJ picked up the victory in the match by taking the fourth, 25-23.
• On the offensive side of the ball, the Falcons had many contributors, as three Albertus players tallied 10-plus kills.
• Elayna Beutel (Prospect, Conn.) tallied a team-high 14 kills, while Diana Kalman (East Haven, Conn.) and Ivanna Sanfeliz (Dorado, Puerto Rico) had 11 and 10 kills, respectively.
• Jaiden Williams (Orange, Conn.) accounted for a season-best 41 assists on the Falcons' 47 kills.
• Williams and Joismar Avilés (Hatillo, Puerto Rico) were stellar from the service line, as both tallied a team-best three aces.
• On the defensive end, the Falcons had four players tally double-digit digs.
• Williams (17), Kalman (15), Avilés (12), and Sanfeliz (12) all tallied 10-plus digs.
