KEY HIGHLIGHTS
The Saints built a strong lead in the opening set winning 10 of the first 13 points to grab a 10-3 edge. However, despite the deficit, the Falcons showed no quit, staging a comeback to tie the set at 18-18. An Emmanuel timeout steadied the hosts, as they scored five consecutive points to lead 23-18, but Albertus battled back to within three, 23-20, following a kill from Ivanna Sanfeliz (Dorado, Puerto Rico). However, Emmanuel finished things off, claiming set one, 25-22.

The second set started as a back-and-forth battle, before a 5-0 scoring run for the Saints helped to gain control of the frame. Albertus drew to as close as three, 14-11, but Emmanuel retaliated with a 6-0 run that pushed its lead to double-digits, 21-11. Unfortunately, Albertus could not complete the comeback and fell in set two, 25-14.

The beginning of set three was similar to the last as both teams battled back-and-forth for the lead. Emmanuel managed to gain control of the frame, 12-7, but the Falcons, who scored five straight points, pulled within one, 13-12. Albertus failed to overtake Emmanuel for the rest of the set, pulling to within one point of the lead on numerous occasions. The Saints ended the final set and match on a 5-1 run.
