NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College volleyball team lost a hard-fought battle to the Vikings of Salem State University on Thursday night by a final score of 3-2.
Diana Kalman (East Haven, Conn.) led the Falcons with 14 kills, while Joismar Avilés (Hatillo, Puerto Rico) served up a season-high five aces.

- Unfortunately for the Falcons, the Vikings would not quit, as the visitors went on to win the fourth and fifth sets to take the match.
- Kalman finished the night with her second double-double of the year on 14 kills and 16 digs.
- Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.) was close to a double-double with seven kills and 11 digs.
- Amanda Zdru (Stratford, Conn.) finished three digs shy of her career-high with 24 tonight.
- Rachael Pellegrini (Clinton, Conn.) tallied a career-high 20 digs.
- Pellegrini tallied her second double-double of the year with 20 assists and 20 digs.
- Aviles tallied a season-high five aces.
