NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team fell in both ends of a home Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match on Saturday afternoon inside "The Nest." The Falcons were bested in the opener by a 3-1 final score to Emmanuel (Mass.) College before dropping a straight-set match to Colby-Sawyer College in the nightcap.

• The Falcons came out strong in the opening set against the Saints, taking the first by a 25-22 final score.
• Unfortunately for AMC, it could not keep up that momentum for the remainder of the match, as the Saints caught fire to win the following three sets.
• Colleen Edwards (Clinton, Conn.) led the way for the Falcons in the opener, tallying a season-high 13 kills against Emmanuel.
• Defensively, Amanda Zdru (Stratford, Conn.) paced AMC with 18 digs.
• Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.) finished the opener two kills shy of a double-double with eight kills and 11 digs.
• Rachael Pellegrini (Clinton, Conn.) orchestrated the offense with 23 assists on the team's 34 kills.
