NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team celebrated its Senior Night tonight before its straight-set loss to Elms College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Tuesday evening.

The Falcons honored Diana Kalman (East Haven, Conn.), Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.), and Taina Vargas (Bridgeport, Conn.) for their hard work and dedication to the program over the past four years.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• The first set was hard-fought, as the Falcons trailed by just two points, 12-10, at the midway point.
• Unfortunately for AMC, the Blazers pulled ahead and won the set 25-17 to go ahead 1-0.
• Albertus kept things close in the second, leading 18-17 through the first 35 points.
• Again, the Blazers answered and snuck away with a 25-20 victory.
• Elms finished off the match in the third set, maintaining a comfortable lead for much of the frame, ultimately sealing the win with a 25-18 third.
• Kalman was the Falcons' most consistent offensive threat, finishing the night with a team-high eight kills.
• Kalman also led all players with four blocks.
• Rachael Pellegrini (Clinton, Conn.) was at the center of AMC's attack, assisting on 15 of the team's 20 kills.
• Pellegrini also tied Joismar Avilés (Hatillo, Puerto Rico) for the team lead in digs with 10, giving her the fourth double-double of her sophomore season.
