NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team was selected to finish 15th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) preseason poll.
The Falcons received 44 voting points, between the University of Saint Joseph, who was 14th and Anna Maria, who was 16th.
Seven-time defending champion Johnson and Wales was picked to win once again, receiving 245 voting points, including ten first place votes. Rivier was selected second with 232 points and four first place votes and Simmons third with 226 voting points and two first-place votes.
Last season, the Falcons finished 6-24 and 2-11 in the GNAC.
Albertus kicks off its season on Saturday, September 2 at home against Old Westbury at 11 a.m. and Salem State at 3 p.m.
