New Haven, Conn. - Majo Pelaez (Armenia, Colombia) of the Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for her performance this week.

The junior made a strong contribution this week, tallying 30 kills and 28 digs over two matches. In a decisive 3-0 victory against Centenary, she recorded 17 kills and 7 digs. Following that, she achieved a double-double with 13 kills and 21 assists in a 3-1 win against St. Joseph's (Brooklyn). It was the sixth time this season Pelaez had double digits in both kills and digs - she has acheived the feat in three of her last four matches.

Pelaez is now averaging 3.36 kills/set and 2.33 digs/set on the season.

The Falcons are on the road Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. matchup with St. Elizabeth.
