Veronica Blekis took 54th place as the Albertus Magnus women's cross country team took seventh at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Blekis' 5k time of 23:53.80 led the Falcons on the afternoon in Albertus' second race of the 2011 season.
Alisha Darin finished with a time of 26:01.10, putting her in 68th place among the finishers. Lianna Carrero and Taylor Jagoe finished back-to-back in 78th and 79th, while Cara Ann Cama took 82nd place.
Carrero finished in a time of 28:51.90, while Jagoe recorded a time of 29:52.90. Cama finished with a time of 31:50.0.
The Falcons will race on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, Conn.
