Lianna Carrero led the Albertus Magnus women's cross country team at the 2013 University of Saint Joseph Invitational in West Hartford, Conn. on Saturday afternoon.
Carrero took 17th place in a field packed full of Division I runners. Fairfield University registered the top-five finishes and sixth of the top seven to lead the way.
The Falcon senior runner finished the 5 Km race in a time of 26:13 as she was the Falcons' top finisher. Olivia Sutherland followed in 21st place at 27:03.
Fairfield won the race with 15 total points, while Lasell took second. Saint Joseph finished in third with Bay Path and Albertus following.
Fairfield's Hillary Maxson won the race with a time of 20:44.
