ALBERTUS ATHLETICS ANNOUNCES THREE-YEAR LACROSSE SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH STXMay 13, 2011(New Haven, CT) – The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department and STX have announced a three-year sponsorship agreement that will outfit the Albertus men’s and women’s lacrosse programs exclusively with inventory from the world’s leading manufacturer of lacrosse equipment. The agreement was signed today, and announced by Director of Athletics Michael Spinner.

Delia, a resident of East Haven, comes to Albertus after more than a decade working with three of Connecticut’s finest Division I men’s lacrosse programs.

Albertus Magnus College recently announced a major renovation to the College’s outdoor athletic field, the addition of a turf playing surface at the New Haven, Connecticut campus. The upgrades will occur during the summer of 2011. The renovated field will remain home to Albertus’ highly successful men’s and women’s soccer programs, and the College will also sponsor men’s and women’s lacrosse as their 13th and 14th varsity sports, beginning in the spring of 2013.
