The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2012-13 school year. Thirty-six student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 757 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and 12 affiliate member institutions in the conference. The student-athletes selected had to meet the following criteria: maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, complete at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is of sophomore status academically.
The New Haven Register featured the Athletes of the Year from local colleges and universities in the New Haven area. Among the group listed were Albertus Magnus College standouts Stephen Zapata and Lianna Carrero, both of Hamden, Conn.
