Flanders concluded her first season as the Volunteer Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach during the 2022-23 academic year.
Flanders graduated from Mercy College with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Spanish. She was also a three-year player with the Mavericks' volleyball program, being named a captain all three seasons.
