Johnson & Wales (R.I.) improved to 5-1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on Sunday with an 11-0 win over the Albertus Magnus softball team in West Haven. Taylor Cwalinski threw a no-hitter and walked one batter to lead the Wildcats to their eighth win of the season. The Wildcats' only loss in conference play was to the Falcons in the first game of the Sunday double header.

The Wildcats (8-8, 5-1 GNAC) scored 11 runs on 11 hits and seven Albertus errors to earn the GNAC victory. The Falcons fall to 5-7 overall and 2-4 in GNAC play with the loss.

Albertus' Danielle Thuerling (Wallingford, Conn.) took the loss for the Falcons to move to 3-5 on the year. Thuerling allowed 11 runs on 11 hits in five innings of play as all 11 runs were unearned. She also struck out two batters and walked one as the Falcons committed seven errors in the contest.

Johnson & Wales was led by a 4-for-4 performance from Alyssa Babineau, while she added one run and three RBI along with two doubles.

The Falcons return to action on Tuesday afternoon as they head to Bay Path College for a 3:00 p.m. non-conference double-header.
