The Albertus Magnus softball team fell to Rivier College 12-4 in six innings on Saturday afternoon in the second game of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) double header.

Brittney Urciuoli (Newington, Conn.) went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Falcons, while Danielle Figueroa (Bridgeport, Conn.) also went 2-for-4 with one run scored.

Rivier took a 3-1 lead in the first inning before adding two runs in the third and four in the fourth to extend the Raiders lead to 9-1.

Albertus' Aimee Mirto (Hamden, Conn.) added a 1-for-2 performance with one run scored and one RBI.
