New Haven, Conn. -- The Albertus Magnus College softball team added eight new players during the 2020 offseason. Take a moment to meet newest members of the Albertus softball team.

Kayala DesPres | Fr. | Utility | Northford, Conn. / North Branford | R/L | 5-6
DesPres graduated from North Branford High School. The Northford, Conn., native was named both First and Second Team All-Conference during her high school career. She was picked as a team captain as a senior and also played volleyball.

Alexis Enjem | Fr. | Utility | Derby, Conn. / Derby | R/R | 5-3
Enjem attended Derby High School. She received a 2018 CIAC NVL All-Copper Division Award. The utility player served as a team captain as a senior.

Yulianna Frometa Gomez | Fr. | Utility | Freeport, N.Y. / Freeport | R/R | 5-2
Frometa-Gomez graduated from Freeport High. The product of Freeport, N.Y. was a part of softball team's conference championship. She was named team captain in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

Angela Grindrod | Fr. | Pitcher | Stratford, Conn. / Stratford | L/L | 5-7
Grindrod attended Stratford High School. She earned All-Colonial and All-Conference honors. The Stratford, Conn., native was named offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and Defensive Player of the Year as a junior. She was named team captain during junior and senior seasons and also played volleyball and indoor track.

Erin Molkenthin | Fr. | Infield | East Haddam, Conn. / Nathan Hale-Ray | R/R | 5-9
Molkenthin went to Nathan Hale-Ray High School. She earned All-State honors in both sophomore and junior seasons. The East Haddam, Conn., native was named First Team All-Conference as a sophomore and Second Team as a junior. She served as team captain during her senior season. Molkenthin also played basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track.

Rodriguez graduated from the Academy of Science and Innovation. The product of New Britain was named All-Conference in both her sophomore and junior seasons. She was a team captain as a sophomore and junior.

Salvati attended W. F. Kaynor Technical High School. The Naugatuck, Conn., native served as team captain during her junior season. She also played basketball.

Torello graduated from Haddam-Killingworth High School. The product of Killingworth, Conn., was also a part of her high school swim team.
