NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College softball team ranks among Division III leaders in four different categories, while three student-athletes are ranked in the top 25 of the individual categories in the latest NCAA statistical rankings.

The Albertus Magnus pitching staff currently sits at No. 10 in shutouts with nine as well as maintains a stellar 2.08 ERA.

From the offensive standpoint, Albertus is 10^th in batting average (.369), 10^th in on-base percentage (.440), and 14^th in triples (13).

Senior right-hander Erin Dighello (Wallingford, Conn.) occupies the No. 15 spot in victories as she currently boasts an overall record of 13 wins and three losses.

Senior Ivy Geloso (Beacon Falls, Conn.) not only leads the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), but she also ranks 23^rd in Division III with a .506 batting average.

Freshman Ema Signore (Guilford, Conn.), who currently leads the conference, ranks 25^th in saves with three.

The Falcons will return to the diamond on Saturday, April 23, to play a league doubleheader against the Cadets of Norwich University. The opening game of the twin bill is slated to start at 1 p.m. at the Shea Softball Complex.
