Katina Roy enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Albertus Magnus softball team.
Roy is a 2024 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), where she was a member of the school’s softball team for four seasons where she primarily played in the infield. She had a .304 batting average with 62 hits, 27 runs and 29 RBI in her career.
In 2023, she was named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) Third Team, the NE10 Academic All-Conference Team and the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Roy graduated Magna Cum Laude from SCSU with a B.S. in business administration and a minor in marketing.
Roy has been the Assistant Coach of the Connecticut Eliminators 12u/13u softball team since August of 2022 as well as an instructor at D-Bat in Bloomfield, Conn.
