NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team lost a 7-2 match to Western Connecticut State University on Thursday afternoon at Celentano Courts.
JuJu Oliver won her singles no. 1 match over Sarah Cipriano, 6-2, 6-3 and teamed up with Julianna Sigut in doubles no. 1 to defeat Cipriano and Sophie Charbonneau, 8-5. Oliver has won two of her last three singles and doubles matches.
Sigut put up a tough fight against Charbonneau, but fell, 6-3, 6-4 in no. 2 singles.
The Falcons take on UMass-Boston on Friday at 4 p.m. at Celentano Courts.
