  • 2016-17 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced

    Winthrop, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2016-17 school year. This year, 57 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 893 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 12 associate member institutions in the conference.

    The Albertus Magnus College women’s volleyball team scored a 3-1 come-from-behind victory on the road against CCNY on Tuesday evening in non-conference action inside Nat Holman Gymnasium. The back-and-forth contest saw the guests drop the first set 25-21 before rallying to take the next three by scores of 25-22, 25-16 and 25-19.

The guests came out of the gates strong and fought off rallies from the hosts in the second and third games en route to a 25-9, 25-18, and 25-21 triumph.
