NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Skylar Arent (Ridgefield, Conn.), Paige Scheid (Cedar Grove, N.J.), Erin Molkenthin (East Haddam, Conn.) and Amanda Savinelli (New Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball team were named to the 2023-24 Division III Academic All-District team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

It was the first time all four members of the Falcons have earned the honor.

Savinelli and Scheid were both named to the team while majoring in psychology. Molkenthin earned the honor while majoring in graphic design and Arent was named to the team while majoring in biology.

Scheid advanced to the national ballot which will be voted on by CSC members.
