    The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2013-14 school year. This year, 58 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 765 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 13 associate member institutions in the conference.

    Sophomore Mike Choiniere (Bethany, Conn.) has been named to the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league office on Monday. He is the first-ever Falcon to earn GNAC All-Conference honors as it was the Falcons’ first-ever varsity season.

    The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team recognized senior day for the lone senior John Monaco. The Falcons lost to Rivier University 12-7 however. The Falcons fall to 3-9 on the season and 2-6 on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) while the Raiders of Rivier University improve to 8-5 on the season and 5-4 in the conference.

    The Albertus Magnus College men’s lacrosse team fell to the Mariners of Mitchell College Thursday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. in a non-conference matchup. The Falcons fall to 3-7 on the year overall as the Mariners improve to 6-4 on the season.

Choiniere was named the GNAC Player of the Week, while Buck was named the GNAC Rookie of the Week.

The Falcons improve to 3-5 on the season and 2-4 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as the Daniel Webster College Eagles fall to 0-7 on the year and 0-6 in the GNAC.

    The Lasell Lasers scored 20 goals against the Falcons to record a 20-6 dominating victory over the Albertus Magnus Falcons Wednesday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. Josh Gallant and Casey Sulivan led all point totals with five a piece. The Lasers improve to 5-4 on the season and 4-0 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) while the Falcons fall to 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the GNAC.

    The Albertus Magnus men’s lacrosse team defeated Anna Maria College 10-6 Wednesday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. The Falcons victory is the first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory in program history. The Falcons improve to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference and the AMCats fall to 1-7 on the season and 1-2 in the conference.

The Falcons fall to 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play while the Cadets improve to 1-5 on the season and 1-1 in the GNAC.
