2021: Made eight pitching appearances for Albertus in 2021…was second on the team with 22.2 innings pitch, with a 1-2 record, 16 strikeouts, and a 6.35 ERA…started and earned the win in the Falcons’ season-opening win over Lasell, 7-5, on March 27, going 4.1 innings with three runs allowed and four strikeouts…allowed two earned runs in 5.1 innings against Anna Maria in the GNAC Tournament Semifinals.

2020: Named GNAC Pitcher and Rookie of  the Week (03/02)...had two appearances on the mound for the Falcons as a freshman, including one start…went 1-0 with a 4.22 earned-run average…struck out a season-high three batters in the opening win of the season against Mt. St. Mary…had five strikeouts total.

High School: Attended Wolcott High School...made 2015 All-Iron Team and 2016 All-NVL Team...won 2016 Class M State Championship...named team captain as a senior...also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Carrie Smernoff and Gerard Negretti...majoring in Sports Management.
