2014-15 GNAC All-Academic Team AnnouncedJune 03, 2015The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2014-15 school year. This year, 48 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 822 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 10 associate member institutions in the conference.

Falcons Finish Season with Loss at BrandeisMay 10, 2015The Albertus Magnus softball team fell to top-seeded Brandeis 9-4 in the ECAC Division III New England Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons used a 5-4 win to earn the right to play in the championship against the host team.

Albertus Splits ECAC Tournament GamesMay 09, 2015The Albertus Magnus softball team split a pair of games in Saturday’s Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Tournament action as the Falcons fell to second-seeded Southern Maine 4-1 before defeating Suffolk 2-1 to eliminate the Rams from postseason play.

JWU won game one 6-0 then edged the Falcons 4-3 in game two.

Falcons Advance to Title Game on SundayApril 25, 2015The second-seeded Albertus Magnus softball team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Johnson & Wales (R.I.) in six innings to advance to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament Championship on Sunday. The Falcons will need to win just one game on Sunday to earn the program’s second-ever GNAC Tournament title. Albertus will face the winner of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and JWU on Sunday.

Albertus to Host Two Games on Friday in the GNAC TournamentApril 23, 2015Albertus Magnus College will host two games on Friday night as part of the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Championship Tournament. West Haven High School in West Haven, Connecticut will serve as the site to two games beginning with a game one 5:20 p.m. first pitch. The first contest will feature sixth-seeded Emmanuel College and third-seeded Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Albertus will take on the winner in the nightcap which is tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:20 p.m.
