    The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Program received another award this afternoon. Junior center Kendrae Walker (New Haven, CT) added First team All New England honors to her resume. Walker was named the GNAC Player of the Year and averaged 19.6 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game this season.

  • Lady Falcons Fall 80-57 in GNAC Semi-Final Game

    Northfield, VT - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball team dropped a 80-57 decision in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semi-Final game on Thursday night. The Lady Falcons struggled from beyond the arc shooting just 2-17 in the game. The Lady Falcons finished a remarkable run at the end of the season winning five of their last six contests entering the GNAC Semifinals.
  • Walker Layup Leads Lady Falcons to 82-81 Playoff Victory

    Junior center Kendrae Walker (New Haven, CT) made a layup with just 2 seconds remaining in the game as the Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Team defeated visiting Suffolk University 82-81. The Lady Falcons led for most of the game until a late Suffolk University rally gave them a 63-58 lead with under eight minutes left in the game. The game would then be tied four times the rest of the game.
  • Lady Falcons Clinch Third Place in GNAC and Home Playoff Game

    Boston, MA - The Albertus Magnus Falcons (12-13 overall, 8-4 GNAC) topped the Suffolk University Rams (14-11, 7-5 GNAC), 82-70 in women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons had four players reach double-digits in points, including two players posting double-doubles on the day. Junior center Kendrea Walker (New Haven, CT) posted 20 points to go along with 20 rebounds as the Falcons cruised to victory. Senior forward Krystal Bryant (New Haven, CT) also posted a double-double recording 17 points along with 14 rebounds.

    New Haven, CT- On Tuesday night, The Lady Falcons dropped a 75-47 decision to GNAC opponent Emmanuel College. Albertus honored their three seniors Alyson Medeiros (Wallingford, CT), Krystal Bryant (Hamden, CT), and Kendra Dowen (Montpelier, VT). The Lady Falcons were led by junior center Kendrae Walker (New Haven, CT) and her team high 12 points and 10 rebounds.

    New Haven, CT- On Saturday afternoon, the Lady Falcons led 30-25 at the half and never trailed on route to a 67-54 victory over visiting Rivier College. The Lady Falcons won their third straight conference game and led by as many as 17 as they continue to make a significant playoff push.

    Boston, MA - On Tuesday night, The Lady Falcons defeated GNAC opponent Simmons College 57-52 to earn their second straight conference win. The Lady Falcons took a 37-20 lead into halftime and handled a late second half push from Simmons to emerge victorious. The Lady Falcons never trailed in the contest leading by as much as 17.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Emerson College's Olivia DiNucci (Pittsburgh, PA) hit three free throws with 21 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime, but Emerson managed only five points in the extra session as the Lady Falcons capped a 16 point second half rally with an 83-80 Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory at Emerson College.
  • Lady Falcons Drop 68-51 Decision to Brooklyn College

    Brooklyn, NY - On Monday night the Lady Falcons dropped a 68-51 decision to host Brooklyn College. Brooklyn went on a 12-0 run midway through the first half and the Lady Falcons never recovered. The Lady Falcons received a balanced scoring attack with three starters in double figures including junior center Kendrae Walker (New Haven, CT) and her 12 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Lady Falcons Fall 61-52 to Visiting Eastern Nazarene College

    New Haven, CT - On Saturday afternoon, The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball team dropped a 61-52 decision to visiting Eastern Nazarene College. A close game through the first half, the Falcons trailed by only three with the score 28-25 at the half. Despite the valiant effort, the Lady Falcons were down 54-49 with just two minutes to play but just could not overcome the deficit.

    New Haven, CT - On Saturday afternoon, The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Team dropped a 54-46 decision. The Lady Falcons led 27-25 at the half leading by as much as eight points in the second half but MIT went on a 9-2 run with 5 minutes to go to seal the victory.
  • Lady Falcons Drop 65-53 Decision to Curry College

    Milton, MA - The Lady Falcons dropped a close game to Curry College on Tuesday night 65-53. The Lady Falcons found themselves down 32-21 at the half shooting just 15 percent from the field. Albertus shot much better from the field in the second half ending the game on an 8-0 run as the game clock expired.
