2013-14 GNAC All-Academic Team Announced
June 04, 2014The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2013-14 school year. This year, 58 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 765 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 13 associate member institutions in the conference.

Urciuoli & Jessey Earn GNAC All-Conference Honors
April 28, 2014Junior Brittney Urciuoli (Newington, Conn.) and freshman Amanda Jessey (East Haven, Conn.) have earned spots on the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Third Team as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Urciuoli and Jessey are the first Falcons to earn All-Conference recognition since 2012.

April 23, 2014The Albertus Magnus softball team fell to Norwich 5-4 in the first round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament on Wednesday afternoon in Northfield, Vt. The Falcons, who were the seventh seed of the tournament, made a postseason appearance for the first time since 2006.

Falcons Fall to JWU in Two
April 04, 2014The Albertus Magnus softball team fell to Johnson & Wales (R.I.) in back-to-back Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contests on Friday night at West Haven High School in West Haven, Conn. Led by a one-hitter by pitcher Tayla Gardner in the first game, the Wildcats cruised to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Falcons. In game two, the Wildcats scored 12 runs en route to a 12-4 win in five innings as the contest was called after five due to heavy rain showers.
