2013-14 GNAC All-Academic Team AnnouncedJune 04, 2014The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2013-14 school year. This year, 58 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 765 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 13 associate member institutions in the conference.

Skidmore, Mirmina Earn All-New England Region HonorsDecember 04, 2013Albertus Magnus women’s soccer seniors Shannon Skidmore (Terryville, Conn.) and Shelley Mirmina (Milford, Conn.) have earned NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-New England Region honors as announced by the NSCAA on Tuesday. Skidmore was named to the First Team, making her the first Falcon women’s soccer player to receive such recognition, while Mirmina was named to the Second Team, another first for the program.

Albertus to Host ECAC Women's Soccer Action this WeekendNovember 14, 2013For the first time in school history, Albertus Magnus College will play host to the Women’s Soccer Division III ECAC New England Tournament. The ECAC Tournament event kicks off on Saturday morning when the fifth-seeded Falcons take on top-seeded Roger Williams University in an 11:00 a.m. contest. No. 3 Wheaton College (Mass.) and No. 7 Castleton State will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Albertus Magnus College’s Celentano Field.

Falcons Advance in Tourney with 4-3 win at Framingham StateNovember 13, 2013With a 4-3 come-from-behind win over fourth-seeded Framingham State, the Albertus Magnus women’s soccer team earned its first-ever ECAC Tournament victory and will advance to the semifinal round set to take place in New Haven on Saturday afternoon against top-seeded Roger Williams University.
