    The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2014-15 school year. This year, 48 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 822 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 10 associate member institutions in the conference.

    Sophomore Danielle Polvan (East Haven, Conn.) netted the game-winning goal in the 102nd minute as the Albertus Magnus women’s soccer team defeated the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) 3-2 in double-overtime. The Falcons, who are the fourth seed in the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament edged the fifth seeded Blue Jays at home in the Falcons’ sixth-straight postseason appearance.
